A classic Porsche is both a car and an investment. We establish the condition grade, the market value and the insured value in a way you can follow – as the basis for a purchase, a sale, an insurance policy or German historic vehicle registration.
On a classic Porsche it is not the mileage that decides the value but originality, history and substance. A 993 with unbroken history and its original paint can be worth a multiple of a visually equivalent car with no papers. A valuation report is precisely what captures those differences.
We assess using the established condition grade system, from 1 (flawless, concours condition) to 5 (in need of restoration), including intermediate grades. Bodywork and paint, interior, mechanical condition, underbody and the completeness of the documentation are each assessed.
For your insurer the report is, as a rule, mandatory. Classic car policies require a current valuation report – without one, a claim is settled at a flat current value rather than at the actual market value of your car.

For the German historic vehicle registration, the H-Kennzeichen under § 23 StVZO, your vehicle must be at least 30 years old and in good, largely original condition. The assessment itself is carried out formally by an officially recognised testing organisation – but whether your car meets the criteria is something we establish honestly with you beforehand.
We document departures from original specification, assess period accessories and tell you which work is worth doing before the car is presented. That saves you a rejection you would have to pay for, and unnecessary rework afterwards.
