Porsche Approved appraisals.

A Porsche Approved used car has been inspected – but it has not been valued neutrally. We assess condition, history and accident record independently of the selling dealer and tell you what your Porsche is really worth.

The difference

Approved means inspected – not valued neutrally.

The Porsche Approved programme is one of the most rigorous used car programmes in the premium segment. Every vehicle goes through an extensive technical inspection before delivery and receives an extended warranty. That is a genuine advantage in quality – but it is not a substitute for an independent appraisal.

The Approved inspection is carried out by the Porsche Centre that is selling the car. It answers the question of whether the vehicle meets the release criteria – not whether the asking price matches the actual market value, whether a repaired earlier accident was put right properly, or whether a loss of market value still attaches to the car.

As an independent appraiser we work solely for you. We assess condition, paint build-up, suspension geometry and history neutrally – whether you are buying, selling or settling a claim on a 911, 718, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera or Taycan.

Paint and bodywork inspection

Coating thickness measured on every panel, panel gaps checked, and inspection for resprayed or replaced parts – including where earlier damage was repaired properly.

Market-based valuation

Valued on model variant, option codes, mileage and current market data – including the factory options that so strongly drive value on a Porsche.

Backing when you buy

A written condition report gives you a solid basis for negotiation – and, if it comes to a dispute, a document that stands up in court.

Scope of inspection

What we examine on your Porsche in detail.

We go considerably further than a visual check. You receive the result as a written condition report with photographic documentation – set out clearly and with an unambiguous statement of value.

  • Paint coating thickness on every body panel, including roof and pillars
  • Panel gaps, alignment and any indication of accident repair
  • Underbody, chassis rails and jacking points checked for distortion
  • Suspension, axle geometry and tyre wear pattern – with 3D wheel alignment on request
  • Vehicle history, service intervals and the plausibility of the recorded mileage
  • Specification by option code and its effect on value
  • On the Taycan and E-Hybrid models, the condition of the high-voltage battery as well

After a collision

Accident damage on a Porsche – every detail counts.

On a vehicle of this class, the quality of the report decides four- and five-figure sums. Aluminium and mixed-material construction, bonded structural components, ceramic brake systems (PCCB), adaptive suspension and extensive driver assistance systems all require repair procedures that a standard report frequently does not reflect at all.

Then there is merkantile Wertminderung, the loss of market value: on a Porsche in particular, the drop in value after an accident is above average even where the repair was carried out properly. We calculate it in a way that can be followed and traced, and we press it home with the insurer.

Where the collision was not your fault, the other party's liability insurer bears the appraisal fee in full – so our accident appraisal costs you nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know.

Does your report replace the Porsche Approved inspection?
No, it complements it. The Approved inspection is a technical sign-off by the selling Porsche Centre. Our condition report is a neutral assessment of condition and value – produced for the buyer or the seller, not for the dealer.
Can I bring you along to view a car at the dealership?
Yes, and that is the most common arrangement. We inspect the vehicle on site at the dealership. The appointment should be agreed with the seller beforehand – reputable dealers have no difficulty with it.
Which Porsche models do you produce reports for?
All of them: 911, 718 Boxster and Cayman, Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan – combustion, hybrid and fully electric. Classics are handled separately under Porsche Classic.
What does a condition report cost?
Where the collision was not your fault, the other party's insurer covers the cost in full. For pre-purchase advice or a valuation report we quote a fixed price in advance, depending on the model and the scope of the inspection.
